Money Counters

Money counters are a group of volunteers that are utilized weekly to accurately and securely count and record the offerings.  This task is done in such a manner that parishioners can receive tax statements at the end of each year and the financial records for the church can be accurately maintained.

Counters receive a quarterly schedule.  Many volunteers team up with friends or spouses to make the job of tallying more enjoyable. Because the counters work in teams, it usually takes about one hour per week to complete.

Counters must be:

  • Dependable
  • Accurate
  • Discreet with confidential information
  • Honest

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer counter, please contact Lynette in the parish office.
